Great success in Portugal for Ru Maccature

Very successful tour for the Folk Group "Ru Maccature" just returned from Portugal. The group performed in international folk festivals receiving always a great appreciation from the public, always numerous, who attended the performances. Housed in the town of Lamego, 30 thousand people, the team has performed in surrounding area with a very typical scenario that served as a perfect backdrop to the traditional performance of "Ru Maccature. Three performances that have been completed on the day 31 in Lamego at the 32 nd International Festival of the city. The Italian flag together with that of the Molise region have been taken jointly by the mayor of the city. On this occasion there was an exchange of gifts between the first citizen of Lamego and of Carpinone, Pasquale Sarao, who followed the band in this tour. Next year the Rancho Folklorico "Fafel" of Lamego participate in the International Festival of Carpinone.

International Folk Festival 2009

Great success for the Carpinone International Folk Festival 2009. In the day August 12 as each year more then 2000 people has filled Conception square to admire the performances of several folk groups participating. Were 8 groups that have animated the event representing 7 different countries who have filled the country with sound and color typical of provenance transforming it into a celebration that involved all present. The event started at 18.00 with the presentation of the festival in Martyrs Square of Hungary located in the historic center of Carpinone. The mayor of Carpinone Pasquale Sarao and the President of the folk group Ru Maccature Michele Castrilli have welcomed all the participants, nearly 350 people, while giving start to the festival. Immediately after there was the parade of the groups for the streets of the city accompanied by numerous people who made the long procession. The parade ended in Piazza Conception where starting from 20.45 hours, after the beautiful moment dedicated to national Hymns have followed the various performances. The first folk group to perform was the Folk Group G. Moffa "of Riccia (CB) who delighted the audience with traditional songs and dances of Molise, then they performed all the foreign guests who were the groups:" Dance Company of Payne "(Lithuania), "Asociación Cultural J. Sarmiento (Spain), "Kisalföld Dance Ensemble" (Hungary), "Anatolian Folk Dance Group (Turkey)," National Folk Dance Frula"(Serbia), Dudahim Folk Dance (Israel). Ru Maccature in Spain - 2008

The town of Miranda de Ebro, in the Basque country, welcomed the boys and girls of Carpinone from September 2 to September 7 with a great warmth and citizenship has followed the band in performances also outside the city. On the stage for one of the most important and popular festivals in the area, also groups from Portugal, Venezuela and from other regions of Spain. Ru Maccature in Hungary - 2008

Great success for the group Folk "Ru Maccature just returned from Hungary. On stage in the city of Gyor, which has about 200 thousand people, the components of "Ru Maccature" have performed their repertoire of dances and songs for the more than 3 thousand spectators present that at the end of the performance have indulged in a long and warm applause. The festival of Gyor, which has a great importance in Europe and every year participate groups from all the world. Together with groups of Serbia, Morocco, Turkey, Siberia and other "Ru Maccature" has also participated in festivals in other cities always with great appreciation from the Hungarian people. Great emotion of the President and members of the group of Carpinone returned to Hungary for the second time at a distance of 11 years after the festival in Budapest in 1997. The tour in Hungary, open a rich season for the group of carpinonese that 11 and 12 August will organize in Carpinone the International Folk Festival with the participation of eight groups from Mexico, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Venezuela and Italy.
