Ru Maccature at the International Folk Festival in Prague

From 25 to 30 August 2010, the folk group Ru Maccature was as guest at the Prague International Festival of Folklore "Pražský jarmark 2010".They were  66 foreign groups that have come in the beautiful city of Ceka Repubblic who filled the square of the clock with sounds, colors and rhythms from around the world in front of thousands of visitors who have not only appreciate the shows proposed but often become an active part of the event. Much appreciated,  by the public and by the organizers, the performance of the  dancers and of the musicians of  Ru Maccature that surely have written another important page in the history of the association.

Great success in Portugal for Ru Maccature

Very successful tour for the Folk Group "Ru Maccature" just returned from Portugal. The group performed in international folk festivals receiving always a great appreciation from the public, always numerous, who attended the performances. Housed in the town of Lamego, 30 thousand people, the team has performed in surrounding area with a very typical scenario that served as a perfect backdrop to the traditional performance of "Ru Maccature. Three performances that have been completed on the day 31 in Lamego at the 32 nd International Festival of the city. The Italian flag together with that of the Molise region have been taken jointly by the mayor of the city. On this occasion there was an exchange of gifts between the first citizen of Lamego and of Carpinone, Pasquale Sarao, who followed the band in this tour. Next year the Rancho Folklorico "Fafel" of Lamego participate in the International Festival of Carpinone.

Ru Maccature in Spain - 2008

The town of Miranda de Ebro, in the Basque country, welcomed the boys and girls of Carpinone from September 2 to September 7 with a great warmth and citizenship has followed the band in performances also outside the city. On the stage for one of the most important and popular festivals in the area, also groups from Portugal, Venezuela and from other regions of Spain. Very nice, the closing gala where some components of any groups have danced a typical Spanish dance in the spirit of brotherhood that has always shared the folk groups from around the world. The thirty Molise components have obtained the front pages of most major local media have always been praised, the technical skill and the great energy that reached the public who has been called into question at the end of the show to dance on stage with the group. Even the prestigious "El  Mundo" edition of Miranda has dedicated an article to the festival with the picture of the folk group Ru Maccature. Attended the tour also the Mayor of Carpinone, Pasquale Sarao, and the City Councilor Patrick Orsatti, who in a beautiful ceremony at the council hall of the Basque Center, gave to the authorities of the place the greeting of the city of Carpinone and some traditional gifts of the earth of Molise. This season has been very good for the carpinonese association that has danced in four different countries, from May to September (Poland, Hungary, Germany and Spain) and organized an international festival of folklore in Carpinone that saw an audience estimated at more than three thousand people.

Ru Maccature in Hungary - 2008

Great success for the group Folk "Ru Maccature just returned from Hungary. On stage in the city of Gyor, which has about 200 thousand people, the components of "Ru Maccature" have performed their repertoire of dances and songs for the more than 3 thousand spectators present that at the end of the performance have indulged in a long and warm applause. The festival of Gyor, which has a great importance in Europe and every year participate groups from all the world. Together with groups of Serbia, Morocco, Turkey, Siberia and other "Ru Maccature" has also participated in festivals in other cities always with great appreciation from the Hungarian people. Great emotion of the President and members of the group of Carpinone returned to Hungary for the second time at a distance of 11 years after the festival in Budapest in 1997. The tour in Hungary, open a rich season for the group of carpinonese that 11 and 12 August will organize in Carpinone the International Folk Festival with the participation of eight groups from Mexico, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Venezuela and Italy. Planned for the team of Carpinone other two tours abroad in Germany, in August, and in Spain in September.
