The program of the International Folklore Festival 2011

Also this year on 11 and 12 August will be held on "International Folklore Festival". The 2011 edition can is certainly to be defined the most important ever made at the international level in our region and one of the main festivals of the entire national scene. Will be ten groups from all over the world representing 8 different country attending the final evening of August 12.

No less compelling is the evening of 11 August where there will be the "Notte della Taranta" in the square with the presence of the foreign guests ready to rock out in one of the most captivating dance of the Italian People. Following the program of the event:

Ru Maccature at the International Folk Festival in Prague

From 25 to 30 August 2010, the folk group Ru Maccature was as guest at the Prague International Festival of Folklore "Pražský jarmark 2010".They were  66 foreign groups that have come in the beautiful city of Ceka Repubblic who filled the square of the clock with sounds, colors and rhythms from around the world in front of thousands of visitors who have not only appreciate the shows proposed but often become an active part of the event. Much appreciated,  by the public and by the organizers, the performance of the  dancers and of the musicians of  Ru Maccature that surely have written another important page in the history of the association.

Carpinone International Folk Festival 2010

The day 12th August in Carpinone there was the International Folklore Festival. Organized by the folk group Ru Maccature the festival this year has seen the participation of 7 groups from 6 different countries. These the groups participants:

• Rancho Folklorico “Fafel” - Portogallo;
• Folk Group “Pyrzyce” - Polonia;
• Folk Group “Tierra Mestizia” - Messico;
• Folk Group “Sveta Klara” – Croazia;
• Compagnia di danza “Tinimit” Guatemala;
• Folk Group “Rio” - Italia
• Folk Group “Ru Maccature” – Italia

It can be said definitely that it was really a celebration with qualified groups that led to Carpinone more than three thousand people. Certainly the event was for the number of participating groups and nations represented the largest ever built in Molise. Sounds and colors from the different traditions represented were intertwined in a wonderful show started from the afternoon. The program has seen at 17.30 the presentation of the festival in the picturesque square Martyrs of Hungary located in the historic center of Carpinone and after the parade of all participating groups in the streets of City. At the 20.45 pm, has started the festival with performing of the national anthems and then with the performance of the groups. Were about 350 people in costume who took part in the show.

Great success in Portugal for Ru Maccature

Very successful tour for the Folk Group "Ru Maccature" just returned from Portugal. The group performed in international folk festivals receiving always a great appreciation from the public, always numerous, who attended the performances. Housed in the town of Lamego, 30 thousand people, the team has performed in surrounding area with a very typical scenario that served as a perfect backdrop to the traditional performance of "Ru Maccature. Three performances that have been completed on the day 31 in Lamego at the 32 nd International Festival of the city. The Italian flag together with that of the Molise region have been taken jointly by the mayor of the city. On this occasion there was an exchange of gifts between the first citizen of Lamego and of Carpinone, Pasquale Sarao, who followed the band in this tour. Next year the Rancho Folklorico "Fafel" of Lamego participate in the International Festival of Carpinone.
